The Dance Road is a vast journey exploring diverse cultures and their traditional dances led by anthropologist and artist Sisa Salgado. The goal is to facilitate cultural encounters through the research of traditional dances around the world, opening discussions on our human history and migratory flows.

​Sisa has conducted research, traveling migratory and commercial routes in Asia from the Indonesian archipelago to the North Pole, and Africa from the Sahara to the coast of Senegal. The work was recognized by
the National Geographic Society, the New York State Council for the Arts and the Ministry of Culture of Ecuador.
